Plain-language rules for staying welcome on SDBaja.
Be a good trail neighbor
SDBaja is for adults in the San Diego–Baja off-road community. Treat people with basic respect online and in person.
Threats, harassment, hate, stalking
Do not threaten anyone, harass, stalk, or attack people based on protected characteristics. Escalate safety issues with a report and local emergency services when needed.
Sexual exploitation and minors
Sexual exploitation and any sexual content involving minors are strictly prohibited. Accounts involved will be removed and may be reported to authorities.
Doxxing and private locations
Do not publish someone’s private home, campsite, or personal contact details without permission. Keep meeting pins approximate and public when possible.
Dangerous encouragement / false trail warnings
Do not encourage illegal or reckless endangerment. Do not post intentionally false trail warnings that could put people at risk.
Fraud, scams, stolen property
No scam listings, payment fraud, or trading stolen goods.
Spam, bots, impersonation
No spam floods, automated abuse, or pretending to be another person or brand.
Graphic or illegal content
Do not post graphic violence for shock, or content that is illegal to share.
Unwanted private messages
Stop messaging someone who asks you to stop. Repeated unwanted DMs can lead to limits or bans.
Enforcement
We may warn, remove content, apply temporary restrictions, suspend, or permanently ban accounts. Severity depends on harm and history.
Appeals
If you believe a decision was wrong, email contact@sdbaja.com with your username, what was actioned, and why you think it should be reconsidered. We may uphold, modify, or reverse a decision.
