Inspect before you pay
Meet in person when you can. Inspect parts, vehicles, and paperwork before paying.
Safe public meetups
Prefer busy public places. Tell a friend where you are going. Daytime meetups are safer.
No deposits to strangers
Be extremely cautious about deposits, wires, gift cards, crypto, or “hold” fees to people you do not know.
Titles, VINs, ownership
For vehicles, verify title, VIN, ownership, liens, and condition yourself. SDBaja does not verify titles.
