Inherent risk
Off-roading and in-person meetups are inherently risky. Injury, vehicle damage, getting stranded, weather, and changing trail conditions can happen.
Conditions change
Trail and border conditions can change without warning. Verify locally.
Follow the law
Organizers and participants must follow applicable laws and land-use rules in the U.S. and Mexico as relevant.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your vehicle, skill level, safety gear, recovery equipment, licenses, registration, and insurance.
Share locations carefully
Share meeting points and precise pins carefully. Do not expose private homes or camps unnecessarily.
Not an endorsement
An SDBaja listing of a ride or event is not an endorsement of the host, route, or safety of the activity.
Emergencies
In an emergency, contact local emergency services. SDBaja is not an emergency response service.
RSVP acknowledgment
Before you RSVP to a ride, you must accept the on-screen risk acknowledgment. Acceptance is stored for that RSVP and does not disappear if you later cancel attendance. If the disclaimer version changes materially, you must accept again before RSVPing.
